Red Light Therapy at Tooele Wellness Studio

Boost Recovery • Balance Inflammation • Feel Better, Naturally

At Tooele Wellness Studio, Red and Near-Infrared Light Therapy—also called Photobiomodulation (PBM)—is offered as a gentle, non-invasive way to help your body feel restored, balanced, and energized.

Our sessions use light within specific wavelengths that interact naturally with your body’s cells to support general wellness, recovery, and vitality.

How It Works

When the body absorbs light within the 600–850 nanometer range, it stimulates structures inside your cells called mitochondria—often referred to as the “power plants” of the cell.

This natural interaction helps encourage your body’s own processes for energy production, balance, and renewal.

Many people describe feeling:

  1. More relaxed and centered
  2. Refreshed and mentally clear
  3. A gentle lift in energy and mood
  4. Improved recovery after busy days or physical activity

These experiences vary by individual and are not intended as medical outcomes, but rather as part of a general wellness routine.

General Benefits of Wellness & Vitality

At Tooele Wellness Studio, our focus is on helping you feel your best through safe, relaxing, and supportive experiences.

Light-based therapies are one way to complement a balanced lifestyle that includes rest, hydration, movement, and nutrition.

Our goal is to provide a space where your body can do what it’s naturally designed to do—restore, recharge, and rebalance.

Experience It

Sessions typically last about 30 minutes in our relaxing studio environment.

Many guests describe a gentle warmth and calmness during the experience, with an overall sense of restoration afterward.

It’s completely non-invasive, drug-free, and part of a holistic approach to supporting everyday wellness.

A Science-Inspired Approach

Scientific research on photobiomodulation has explored how light at certain wavelengths interacts with cellular systems that support overall health and resilience.

While these findings are published in peer-reviewed journals, Tooele Wellness Studio does not diagnose, treat, or make medical claims.

We offer PBM purely as a wellness experience aimed at supporting vitality and recovery.

Peer-reviewed studies have observed that exposure to red and near-infrared light may:

  1. Enhance mitochondrial activity and energy production¹–³
  2. Support healthy circulation and cellular balance⁴–⁵
  3. Help regulate oxidative stress in the body⁶–⁷

These findings are encouraging for understanding how light interacts with human biology, even though Tooele Wellness Studio offers the service solely for wellness and vitality purposes.
